    Pick-up location in Reykjavik, from here we'll drive ~2h30min to the first waterfall
  • Seljalandsfoss, Hvolsvollur, Iceland
    This is our first waterfall on the South Coast route. Admiring the majestic beauty of a 60m high and 15m wide Sejlandsfoss... seems like a good start! It's also THE waterfall that you can walk behind. Next we have a 30min drive to next waterfall.

    Known from Netflix's show "The Vikings", the 60m tall and 25m widewaterfall makes great impression. Often during sunny days Skogafoss can surprise us with beautiful rainbow or two!

    Almost on the soutest point of Iceland there's a lovely promontory we're going toexplore. You can expect infinite (and stunning!) views on black sand beach from the top of a high hill.

    One of the "must see" places in Iceland. The gorgeous Black Sand Beach known for its deadly, sneaker waves and beautiful basalt rock formations... Let's stop here for a while to take unfogrettable photos.

  • Volcano Eyjafjallajokull, Selfoss, Iceland
    We'll also pass by the most known volcanos in Iceland. Still active, Eyjafjallajökull last notorious erruption took place in 2010, causing lots of problems in air traffic. The volcano lays just beneath Eyjafjalla Glacier. The massive ice cap overlooking the volcano creates a stunning example of nature's most beautiful creations.

A full day of wonders, to be honest, we never came back home from a trip so exhausted! Off road through the black sand beach, waterfalls, film locations (recently we found out we have been on the same beach where Russel Crowe during filming of Noah!) and all the stories Miro said while taking us to so many amazing places, that we lost count, not to mention we couldn’t even pronounce most of the names. The trip cannot be more personalized, if you don’t like to be taken to places in the bus full of strangers with timed time to spent there, as all other tour operators does, book the time with Roamers as every minute is worth it. Not to say too much, we are already planning another trip, on the different season, as we don’t have enough of Iceland!

We had an outstanding day exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula with Miro. He planned a full day of adventure for us and we enjoyed all of the stops along the way. Miro is passionate about the outdoors and photography. We loved receiving his photos after the trip, especially since it is not often that we get to have photos of both of us in them when we are on vacation. I wholeheartedly recommend Miro and Icelandic Roamers -- it was a very memorable day.

Miro is a great guide, an amazing photographer and a fun person!!! We had an amazing time going with him in his epic Defender on a 4-days trip around the south and east coasts of Iceland. It was an experience of a lifetime, we've seen lots of amazing places - northern lights, volcanos, waterfalls, icebergs, lakes, you name it... all in a very short time. Miro is very experienced and very knowledgeable, and will do above and beyond to make sure that you have a great time, whether it's about seeing the best spots around or making sure that you see the northern lights. We highly recommend Icelandic Roamers and hope we'll get the chance to go on new adventures with him in the future.
