8-Days Best of Italy Trip from Rome with Florence and Venice

We went with Fantasia Tour and our guide was Patrizia. She was knowledgeable, caring, and took care of us like a family member. The tours were well timed, so we did not feel exhausted. It was eye opening. Thanks Patrizia! ????????????

I booked this tour through Wingbuddy and added an additional segment which added a few days in Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi. We had the most fantastic time ever. Having been in other tours prior to this, I have to say that this exceeded well beyond my expectations. Our tour leader, Nicole, was so knowledgeable, funny and her enthusiasm was contagious. She’s truly passionate about her career as a tour guide. She knew all the important and even the “not so important” parts of the tour. Our drivers Edmondo and Franco were also phenomenal. I enjoyed this tour so much that I actually inquired if Nicole did other tours besides Italy. If so, I would book my next one knowing that we would be in great hands. I have been in other tours where we basically skipped the guided tours to do “our own thing”. With Nicole, everyday was a new adventure with a deep knowledge of historical sites and even the local tour guides were the best. The meals were amazing and Nicole bent herself out of shape to accommodate every single person in the tour. Not an easy job when you have over 30 people who have so many different needs and eating habits. But she always made it happen. If I could give Nicole 11 stars I would. She’s simply phenomenal and that’s being very modest!!! I’d highly recommend this tour especially if you have Nikki as your tour leader. She will NOT disappoint. And that’s coming from someone who is known for being very demanding. Thank you Wingbuddy, Franco, Edmondo and especially to Nicole!!!

My wife and I went to Italy on the two week “Tutta l'Italia” vacation, organized by Wingbuddy. The local tour company was Carrani Tours. Sadly, we had to return home after a week for medical reasons, namely my mobility. We have to say, despite the disappointment of having to come home early, we were grateful for the support we received from Carrani and, in particular, our tour guide, Sabrina. To say she ‘took us under her wing’ is an understatement. Seeing my cane, Sabrina immediately approached us to determine the extent of my mobility issue. Wherever we went, she inquired about less taxing ways for us to get to and around our destination. She also arranged taxis for us, along with another guest who had similar issues, to get to destinations where the bus couldn’t go. As if that wasn’t enough, Sabrina made sure we got handicapped rooms, which were so helpful! Constantly, Sabrina would ask us how we were managing and if there was anything more she could do. And we must not forget to mention Luigi, our driver. Not only was he a pro at navigating the somewhat chaotic traffic and getting around several collisions that made the traffic even worse, but he always took the time to assist me, getting on and off he bus. We felt like we were more than tourists. Instead, we felt like a part of the Carrani ‘family’. Thank you Sabrina and Luigi for helping us make the best of a difficult situation. We had a fantastic time while we were there. We’ll be back, and we will certainly look for Carrani – and for you! Also, we hope Wingbuddy will continue to work with Carrani in the future. They make a great pair!
