  • Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
  • Customers have a mandatory meeting time stated 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time due to managing and organizational reasons.
  • The activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational resons
  • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
  • Please note that for safety reasons the Colosseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
  • For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened.
  • To facilitate the security checks please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.
  • Forbidden objects inside the Colosseum: bottles and glasses containers, alcholic beverages and aerosols, backpacks, camping, bulky bags and luggage / trolley.
  • Can be introduced medium and small size backpacks to shoulder, which must be checked, as any other bag, with metal detectors, opened and visually inspected by the Urbe Security Institute, responsible for the entrance inspection.
  • Please notice that the Colosseum Administration, which depends on the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities has the faculty to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice, for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason. In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit and offer a partial refund.
  • No change on a booking can be accepted after 24hrs to the starting time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • The Colosseum Management does not distribute individual tickets. We will have one group ticket for the entire group. For this reason, we are not able to give tickets to late arrivals that missed the tour!
  • All the refund requests must be done within and not later than 48 hours from the day of the tour
  • The entrance timings to the Colosseum listed here are indicative and subject to availability per each time slot. If the chosen time is not available, we will book the next available time slot.
  • The itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions (ice, rain, or high temperatures) or other events beyond the travel agency's control.
  • We kindly inform you that any kind of disability (visual impairment, hearing impairment,... ) or anything that might prevent you to regularly join the tour, MUST BE communicate in advance to our staff.
This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

This was the worst experience in our entire 2-week Italy trip. We of course booked in advance prior to arriving in Italy and booked for a 3-hour tour with this group on 7/5 starting at 9:30 AM. We got to the meeting location at 9:10 AM and we were initially confused since the actual meeting point is across the street (not the coffee place!). We arrived to meet with the tour operators who then told us apparently this tour was rebooked for an earlier time BUT we never received any such notification. Add to the fact that we were already in Italy for 2 weeks at this point and this was the ONLY tour group that pulled this stunt on us. The tour operators on site were not very helpful so I immediately called Viator customer service and spoke to a rep (I believe her name was Arlene Joy) who was very receptive to our plight and indicated that we would receive a full refund in 24-48 hours. This of course did not happen and I received an update within only a few hours saying that our refund was denied. What we decided to do was join a 9:30 AM group tour that was only seeing the Colosseum and was only 1 hour long as the tour operators on site were not helpful or offering us any other options. The tour itself was alright (Francis the tour guide was actually quite nice and knowledgeable) but we could not enjoy this tour due to the frustrations dealt our way. In the end, we did not get the services we paid for and we even arrived on time (it noted in the instructions to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the tour). I cannot stress how poorly this company is run and would advise everyone reading this to select another tour. I am only speaking of those managing this tour group and would like to exclude the actual tour guides.

Fizemos o passeio em grupo, guia Luena era muito boa, falou português de forma muito clara. Nosso grupo tinha pessoas de várias idades e ela prendeu a atenção de todos. Passou muitas informações de uma forma leve. Graças a ela, o passeio não ficou cansativo. Nos fez entender o contexto, dando sentido às visitas. Valeu muito a pena. Gostamos muito!

La visita fue espectacular, porque no se puede decir otra cosa de un monumento que comprende una de las 7 maravillas del mundo, y un icono de la cultura romana, pero sintiendolo mucho no puedo decir lo mismo de la guía. Se llama Luena, y en cuanto a conocimientos, no le quito su valía, pero estar preparada como guía turística, no es solo memorizar unos conocimientos, sino tener humanidad. Nos trató al grupo como a niños pequeños, me sentí como en el colegio, el ego se le salía por las orejas, y llegó a ser maleducada de una forma de lo más tóxica, personas así no pueden estar trabajando al público y menos en una visita tan cara. Era una auténtica pedante y habló de malas formas a algunas personas en diferentes ocasiones, algunas con una edad que podrían ser su madre, aunque el respeto debe ser hacia todas las edades. Estar preparado es demas de conocimientos tener habilidades humanas, no solo unos conocimientos. Solo la veo como profesora, y creo que ni eso, porque educaría a niños en verdadera toxicidad. Cuando contraten una guía turística que se relacione con persomas, antes hay que mirar sus habilidades humanas, lo demás es muy secundario.
