I designed and realized this tour to share with you the excellences of this territory, between history, culture and gastronomy. I have selected the best companies of wines, extra virgin olive oil, buffalo mozzarella and Cilento white fig and you will discover the history of each one, you will visit the working environments, but above all you will delight your palate with products with unique flavors. I will also tell you a story from 2500 years ago, thanks to a guided tour of the archaeological site of the ancient Greek-Roman city of Paestum and the treasures preserved in the National Museum. Only at the end of this tour, away from stress, and enjoying the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet, can you say that you have really known and discovered a rich and pristine land, a true human destination: the Cilento!

    Paestum Ancient city of Campania situated near the Tyrrhenian coast, south of Salerno: it was one of the main centers of Magna Graecia. The oldest traces of human settlement on the site date back to the Paleolithic; more consistent are the testimonies relating to the Bronze Age (see culture of Gaudo). Around 600 BCE, Greek colonists from Sibari founded a city, which they named Posidonia, and built the great sanctuary of Hera just north, near the mouth of the Sele river. At the end of the 5th century BC Paestum was conquered by the Lucanians, under whom it lived a period of prosperity and reached its maximum territorial expansion; in 273 BC the Romans established their own colony, changing the name of the city to the current one

We had an amazing time with Nicola and Mariella! Had wine tastings, buffalo mozzarella farm, Paestum Greek found and a special surprise stop. The whole day was perfect!

We did the Knowledge and Flavors tour with Nicola, and we are now all in love with Cilento region. Nicola picked up the four of us from our accomodation and took us on one of the best days of our Europe trip. During this, we had intimate experiences at a buffalo farm, the ancient ruins of Paestum, a winery, and a fig farm. At each location (and during the transport between each), Nicola made us feel at home as he gave us in depth information for each location and activity, which was mixed with plenty of his contagious humour. A personal highlight for me was the ruins of Paestum. I was very excited to visit this location, and Nicola sharing his knowledge and philosophy about the ruins made this specific visit perfect. It’s all worth noting that we were so full from the delicious food and drink that by the end of the day we could barely move. We are so happy we found this tour, and cannot wait to return to the Cilento region and hopefully do another one of Nicola’s carefully curated experiences.

My boyfriend wanted to give me a boat tour, he already knew Nicola, but I still don't. When I first saw him, he presented himself as a friendly, smiling and playful gentleman. The day started well, but ended in tears of joy, because we did not want to leave the sea and its stories. I really recommend the tour to everyone but WITH NICOLA, if it is not Nicola who will do the tour in Cilento, listen to my advice, DO NOT GO ????. It gave us unique moments. Not to spoil anything else, take a day off and book this beautiful adventure. Unique Nicola, thank you for what you did and what you said.
