This is a most valuable and classic 3 full days tour in Zhangjiajie, covered all the highlights of Zhangjiajie, everyday is fully filled. Please kindly be informed that free hotel pick up are applied only when your hotel is in Wulingyuan town and Zhangjiajije city area, if you want to be picked up from hotels located in Yangjiajie, there would be extra fee due to the long distance (which is around 2 hours driving).

    Today you will head for one of the most famous attractions in the park and the one that attracts the most tourists – The Son of Heaven Mountain (Tianzishan). You will ascend the mountain by cable-car and at the top you will be able to enjoy views of Warrior Taming Horse Rock and the Western Sea which are two of the most stunning mountain formations in the whole park and are really a pleasure to see.

  • Yuanjiajie, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China, 427400
    Then take shuttle bus to the top of Yuanjiajie area, which is now famous because of the movie Avatar. From here, you’ll stand at the same level with the mid-age pillars, which is bigger than those on Tianzi mountain. Take elevator down.

  • Golden Whip Brook, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China
    Pay a visit to one of the most beautiful valleys in the world - the golden whip stream. From here they appear to shoot up into the sky like giant natural skyscrapers. You might meet some wild monkeys along the hiking, we strongly suggest everyone do NOT tease or feed them, leave them alone! The water in the stream is clear, the air pure and the site very well maintained. We will have a relaxing hiking along the stream.

Our tour guide was Ms. Carmen Chou and the driver was Mr. Chou. They picked us up at Changsha train station. From the first meeting, they've been very kind and helpful. We traveled with 2 kids (10&6 yo) and 4 eldery (all above 65 yo), it wasn't easy for sure, but ms. Carmen made our journey so enjoyable and memorable. We managed to visit every place in the itinerary. She was very understanding and patient, though our group pace was slow (my 72 yo aunt needs walking stick). She was very professional and knowledgeable about this area (and many areas we passed through). My daughter enjoyed the history or back story she shared about their culture. Both my children adored her, as she was very caring and interactive toward them. What I like about their service was also how customisable it was. They care about our needs. Unlike most travel agents, they did not take and lock us up at various medicine/souvenir shops. No unnecessary time wasted. Carmen spoke English with me, my husband and my children. She spoke Mandarin with my parents and aunts. She was able to communicate well with everyone in my family. After Zhangjiajie, we were about to take a train from Changsha to Shenzhen. There were no taxis or cars willing to pick us from hotel to train station early in the morning (it was holiday in China and the distance was too close). Fortunately, Carmen and mr.Chou offered us their car service for free, though it wasn't part of the contract/itinerary. We were so grateful for their helps. So, if you want to visit Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend "Zhangjiajie Guardian" as your tour guide.
