Our guide, Đana (pronounced John-Ah), is enthusiastic about Split and her Croatian food culture. She showed us around the old town (Diocletian’s palace), and took us to several food and wine tasting stops, including a rakijah seller at a local market stand, a chocolate shop, and a restaurant, Galeria, for small bites with wine pairings, hosted by the owner. Her colleague, Dinah, who met us at the restaurant, was also lovely and very knowledgeable. Despite the heavy rain we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Split.

Es war eine außergewöhnliche Führung, gestartet mit der Probe von regionalen Köstlichkeiten auf dem Markt in Split… Die netten Verkäuferinnen haben lustige Geschichten zu erzählen und sorgen für die positive Einstimmung. Die kleine regionale Schokoladenmanufaktur sorgt für den nächsten Wow-Effekt… klein aber fein… ist übrigens im Guinessbuch der Rekorde, aber warum erfährt ihr selber bei der Führung ???? was wäre die Führung ohne typischen dalmatinischen Köstlichkeiten wie sir, pršut und vino…kreativ interpretiert in einem versteckten Lokal im Herzens der Altstadt oder im Geto, wie die Einheimischen die Ecke nennen… kreativ, liebevoll, stilvoll und informativ, das sind die passende Worte über die Führung und ihre Guides… absolute zu empfehlen????❤️
