Avebury is wonderful, glad I wore walking shoes. Was disappointed that the schedule changed from what was advertised. I was counting on seeing Stonehenge early in the morning to have dramatic photographic lighting and less crowds. Don’t understand why this was changed to afternoon peak crowd time, boring afternoon light. It was ho hum.

Tour was a good size, not too big. Driver/guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed seeing all the stops, escpecially Avebury. We might have been too long in the last stop as it really quiet. The Cotswolds are rightly famous for their beauty.
