The Curacao Private Beach Hopping / Snorkeling Tour

We booked this trip coming from a cruise ship with a short window of 6 1/2 hours. Curaçao is a beautiful island with some great snorkeling and amazing beaches. If coming from a cruise ship you couldn’t ask for a better tour. Our guide was Ray and he picked us up at the Starbucks right off the pier and we started right away in the morning. You pretty much tell Ray what you would like to do and the man makes the day happen. Ray was a top man and his pride and knowledge of his home shines through. I literally could have just drove around with him all day and listen to his great historical knowledge of the island and the people. We were able to snorkel with the turtles, hit a couple of other beaches/snorkel spots and stop by some of the major historical spots on the island with time to shop at the end. We ended the day with a complimentary shot of Curacao blue liquore from Ray and the story behind the drink. I can’t say enough of good things about Ray. If you are going off a cruise ship this is the way to go. When we got back on the ship there were many complaining they didn’t see or do much due to the short window and didn’t have the greatest time. This island is amazing and it deserves a great tour and guide like this excursion offered. Also, don’t worry about missing the boat as the tour has a policy of getting you back to boat one hour before.

We had such a great time on our tour. We were able to do and see so much. Our guide, Shue, was incredible. He was so knowledgeable, informative, and willing to customize our tour for us. We went into it knowing we wanted to swim with sea turtles but really didn’t know what else there was to do in Curaçao. Shue gave us ideas and suggestions that we would never even thought of! It was one of our favorite days of our vacation!
