In a small and friendly group, partake in a sensational visit of 2 wineries of Archanes area. Visit first a new and dynamic boutique winery. Visit the facilities, from production area to bottling area, cellars with the winemakers explainign about wine process and technics. This will be followed by a wine tasting with a sample of 5 wines representing some of the most interesting local grapes varietals. Move then to a multi awarded winery for another 5 wine sample tasting. Before lunch, in the restaurant, discover about extra virgin olive oil tasting and other traditional products like honey, marmelades, vinegars,... An extraordinary experience to discover Cretan wines and grape varieties. Pierre is passionate and introduced us to Cretan gastronomy and wines with immense knowledge, great wealth. This day was a very high quality experience. Must do if you love good things and tradition.

Fantastic trip to see the stunning vineyards above Heraklion. Great guide and amazingly diverse wines followed by a superb lunch. Highly recommended!
