Overall it was an excellent experience, must do if you are in Tulum or in Playa del Carmen. Our guide Edmundo was great, full of knowledge,eager to tell as many things as possible and very kind. Furthermore, the driver named Otilio was great and very kind. I totally propose this local experience.

We had a bilingual guide as I was the only English speaking person in the tour. Selena took very good care of me and made sure to translate and explain everything to me. They also gave us a drink at the end of the trip since it was a very hot day and we were parched after walking and were very helpful in taking pictures at the various spots. Loved them!! Beware that you do alot of walking during this trip. Dress accordingly. Also carry enough water and snacks. The Mayan buffet was horrible, mostly unpalatable. Also, no drink is included with the classic ticket which meas they can charge you a King's ransom at the Cenote for the drinks they do have. Like 50 peso for a 200ml bottle of water. Also, the tour company charged us extra not only for the Coba and Tulum entrance fees, but also for the transportation by small car. Why are we paying 50$ if we are to be charged another 11$ for transportation just because the group is small? Also, if you try to pay them in pesos, carry exact change because they will do their best to take more money from you by claiming they dont have change.
