Lella has retired, the cooking classes are now run by her successor Francesco, but don't let that deter you, Francesco did a great job running the class, in both Italian and English, with support from a translator when needed. Everyone was encouraged to have hands-on participation in the cooking, it was a lot of fun. The food we prepared included a Tuscan soup with bread, hand-made pici pasta and a sauce to go with it, and panacotta. There was plenty of wine to accompany the meal when the cooking was done. A very enjoyable afternoon and evening!
