All our piers are step-free and wheelchair accessible except for Cadogan, London Bridge City and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter piers. This is because the brow can become too steep, dependant on the tide, at these locations, making it unsafe for wheelchair users.
Tickets are valid within all zones West - Central and East ( between Putney and Barking Riverside piers).
Tickets are not valid on The O2 express services.
Please present your printed or e-ticket to Uber Boat by Thames Clippers staff at any of our piers.
Children up to the age of 10 must always be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are valid for the day selected during booking.
Boarding is based on a first come first served basis.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Perfect staff memeber. Norman is the man. Very friendly lad, happy and professionally. We were a party of 4 2 kids and 2 adults and my children loved these guy’s jokes. It was a pleasant experience

I had a very unpleasant trip with Uber Boat Thames Clippers. I purchased two tickets through the TfL option from London eye waterloo pier to woolwich yesterday, assuming that the TfL travel card they referred to was the Oyster card. Upon arriving at the pier, I sought clarification from the reception staff, who directed me to another colleague near the pier for assistance.
When I reached the pier, I showed my ticket to the staff member there, who simply directed me to another colleague without scanning my ticket or offering any clarification. I then asked the second staff member to check the tickets as I was confused about the TfL option. Instead of addressing my query or scanning my ticket, they directed us straight to the boat.
The real disappointment came once we boarded the boat. No one checked or scanned tickets at the entrance. However, once the boat had taken off and we were seated, the staff came around to scan tickets. This felt like a deliberate setup, as it was only then that they informed me my Oyster card was not valid for the Uber Boat ride.
To make matters worse, I was told that the standard penalty for not having a valid ticket is £50, but as a "courtesy," they charged us £30. I explained to the staff that I had asked multiple employees outside the pier about this issue, yet none of them checked or clarified anything about my ticket. Shockingly, I witnessed the same situation happening to three or four other passengers during the trip, all of whom were charged extra for the same misunderstanding.
This is a major tourist service, and staff members should be adequately trained to guide customers properly. I spoke to three different staff members, yet none offered accurate assistance, which led to us being unfairly fined.
This experience felt like a lack of accountability and organization on the staff’s part. I hope this review helps others avoid the same mistake. Uber Boat Thames Clippers should take steps to improve staff training and provide clearer guidance regarding ticketing options, especially for tourists unfamiliar with TfL systems.
