This was the worse experience. I paid $322 CAD for a transfer from our hotel in Venice to our cruise port. Gave all the details of our ship - Norwegian Breakway, the departure date and time. I pre booked this service a few weeks before departure. Then on the morning of transfer, the driver took us literally 5 mins away from the water taxi and it was the wrong port (for $322!!). No where in my reservation was there any indication that what I asked for was wrong. Then after calling his boss who literally instructed him to dump us, finally she said fine charge then another 500 EUROS (so an additional $750 CAD) to get to our port. We were scammed

We had paid for and hired a private water taxi through Viator. The water taxi driver was rude, didn't offer nor try to help the four of us with our bags, andge refused to take just us tell me he needed to make more money so we were waiting for others to fill the water taxi. including the four of our party, he took onboard another 10 people with all their baggage. We rode so low in the water we were getting splashed through the front door and the open roof. Other water taxi's with 2 - 4 people in them were passing us as if we were standing still. He took us to a specific dock in Venice and told us to walk the rest of the way. I was specific about the Hotel I asked for transport too, He didn't care and completely got in my face and blew me off and said walk it is just 4 blocks from here. Again, he didn't help us off the boat and didn't hand us our luggage but sure had an attitude it was taking us so long to get them off ourselves. I will NEVER use Viator again. My next visit in September, I'll find a much better service.

Ca Sagredo Hotel arranged for a private water taxi to take us from the hotel’s private dock straight to the cruise terminal. With 7;cruise ships in the city at the time, we were able to avoid the busy people mover and was taken straight to Oceania’s location.
