The booking fee includes the costs of booking your tickets such as charges for payment processing. It also covers the provision of our customer care center for processing your order, and all charges imposed by our suppliers.

I accidentally booked the 24-hour boat and bus tour twice and contacted Viator right away—before the scheduled start time—to request a refund for the duplicate booking. Unfortunately, my request was declined even though the mistake was reported immediately. I was very disappointed by the lack of flexibility and communication from both the tour operator and Viator. I hope they review their policies to handle honest booking errors more fairly.

We only used the canal boats portion of the HOHO, but we enjoyed it enough. The only thing I would say is that there are SO MANY boats on the canals and some of them are contracted with HOHO that they aren’t labeled HOHO, so you may not always know which one is yours right away. Use the app, ask questions, be alert.
Otherwise, it was wonderful. Our drivers were great, gave good insight to the local sights along the canals and made us feel welcome. Maps and earbuds are provided if you want a fully guided tour.

We were very disappointed with the hop on hop off bus and boat tour. We could never find the boat. The bus was full and we had to wait close to 25 minutes to get one and then the driver allowed others to purchase tickets on the spot and they got ahead of the line and we missed the bus again. The second day of our reservation was cancelled because of a Palestinan protest therefore we never got the boat and used the bus one time. I feel we should be refunded for the second day.
