Do not book with them unless you can guarantee your flight will not be delayed! Yes , impossible right!
But they actually expect for you to guarantee the actual time of your plane arrival.
On the day we were scheduled to come in from US, I made them aware by writing several hours prior while we were in the Immigration line getting into Madrid that we may lose our connection due to only 2/ 24 immigration ports being open. I updated them that there would be delayed . We ended up missing our connection and have to rent a car for over $400 to drive from Madrid to Granada!!
On our way we have them updated with our new arrival time at the airport ( we had to pick up our luggage at the airport as it was sent ahead ) and they demanded $ 60 on top of our $120 we already paid . We begged , and pleaded that they 1) pick us up, 2)refund our ticket or just 3)give us a credit .
They refused stating that it was our fault and we would have to pay the additional fee. I once again begged them and discussed with them that they never had to dispatch anyone as we made them and never even confirmed the time.
They refused unles we paid the additional $58 fee. Exhausted , jet lagged and famished, we gave up & we ended up having to pay additional money ($30) getting a cab from the airport to our location .
We paid only $30’!! while they wanted to exploit a bad situation and get $58. This is downright just mean . They did not do the honourable thing by us. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY, and NOT about THEIR CUSTOMERS & they OVER CHARGED on a bad situation .
They will not honor any same day changes if your flight is delayed . Even if you make them aware. VERY SAD
( BTW we had a food tour for over $400 we made them aware of what happened & they re-arranged a private tour for us the next day . NOW THATS customer services
