My husband I had booked tickets on the OFFICIAL Alhambra site months in advance. When my daughter decided to join us I was desperate to add a ticket and chanced upon the "Walker Tours" site that was sponsored in Google search. It looked official (my bad for not double checking) and I found availability for the same day we had booked.
I received a confirmation of payment (inflated price) and that tickets would follow. Well, guess what, similar to other reviewers, the tickets never arrived by email. And I received zero response when I contacted them by email or text or WhatsApp. (At this point I had read other reviews and was resigned to it being a scam/fraud.)
A few nights before, an email arrived from Pancho Tours saying that there was now no availability and asking about rescheduling. (No mention of "Walker Tours". ) Although ZERO response to any further emails, I did get a refund for the ticket - less about $10 due to exchange rate fluctuations, which I consider the cost of a lesson to double check. I guess they hope customers just won't follow up?
SILVER LINING - the lovely hotel front desk person suggested going on the Alhambra website the night before as they post cancellations and I was able to grab a ticket for my daughter. Thank you to the Hotel Guadalupe! (Conveniently located across from the Alhambra.)
PS Shame on Google search for allowing scams like this to pop up as 'sponsored'.
