It is a story of passion, of farmers, and historical places: a winery off the beaten path, far away from the crowd, but close to the Tuscan traditions. I will pick you up at your in Lucca with my professional van, and I will drive you through the hills of Tuscany. We will start our tour with a walk in the vineyard and we will visit the cellar where you will discover all the secrets of Tuscan wine, thanks to the explanations and the life stories of the farmer. Then, you will taste the wines of the production enjoying an amazing view. Every wine will be matched with products from the garden and some specialties, like salami and pecorino cheese from Tuscany.. a dip in the Tuscan table culture! Tomasso was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide, and took us to a beautiful family vineyard where we met the owner Carlo. Carlo and his family produce all their wine organically and even produce their own foods on site for the food. Tomasso and Carlo's team were able to tell us about the process that goes into making the wines season by season and how they use traditional methods to take car of the grape vines. We got to taste one white wine and three red wines: a merlot, a sangiovese and a local wine made from the Tuscan regions grapes. Tomasso told us a little about wine tasting and talked us through how to do it. We had a fantastic time with the group and our lovely hosts, but if you want to find out, book your own visit! Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful experience. Tomaso was very knowledgeable and so was the tour guide at the Vineyard. This is a precious vineyard and tasting authentic wine following the traditional recipes made this a great tour!

The setting of the vineyard is charming and the care for the land by the proprietors is genuine. This respect for the property allows them to grow vegetables, bottle olive oil and wine that are all organic. We were given a tour and an in-depth education on how the grapes are grown, the wine stored and fermented. We learned the history of the Fratelli Urbani family. For the wine tasting we were also given goodies while sitting smack in the middle of the vineyard at almost sunset. Tommaso, our driver and host was not only professional and kind, his knowledge of wine tasting is impressive. We knew some things about how to select and taste wine but quickly realized it was limited. So if you want to learn more about wine tasting in addition to visiting this vineyard, this is your trip! Thank you so much for having us. Tommaso we look forward to seeing you again!
