I booked a cooking class for my mother and I. Marisa sent a cab to pick us up from our AirBnB. The cab was a little late, but they called the cab company and figured it out. We went to Marisa's home and everything was already set up for us to start cooking. Marisa would demonstrate and we would follow along. Marisa doesn't speak much English but she provided a translator so we were able to learn a lot about the origins of the dish and how it is best made. They also told us they would send us each recipe by email so we didn't have to write anything down. We started with the potato dish which was delicious! Something I think I could definitely make at home often. We started on the ceviche but because of the way it needs to marinate with ingredients we also started on the pisco sour. Get ready for a quick one minute arm workout! Shake until you get foam and enjoy your fresh pisco sour! We then finished our ceviche dish and made the final touches with decorating and sat down to eat! Yum! Definitely worth your time if you love food!
Thank you for your hospitality and for teaching us your secrets!
