Our group of 14 arrived at Quito Airport(UIO) on time on Thrusday, 10/24/2019 as scheduled. We waited in the International Arrival hall for 20 minutes for the pick up driver. I called the local phone #599323310033 several times without anyone picking the call. I called Europe Shuttle -442033181696
to find out the situation. A man answered and verified my Booking number-715574580. He promised to call back with information to my number and again I verified my phone number with him. Another 30 minutes passed without any return call or pick up vehicle to show up. I called the local number again, this time a man answered the called but claimed he had nothing to do with the shuttle service. He said he is an engineer. He spoke perfect English so there was no misunderstanding whatsoever. We had to get 4 taxis to take our group of 14 to our hotel in Quito. We waited for more than an hour, numerous long distance from my US cellular phone to contact the Europe Shuttle and local number.
This was by far my worst travel experience in as many years that I have travelled all over the world.
Viator emailed me 3 days before my travel date to confirm the booking and details. I will seek a total refund and extra expenses that incurred from this horrendous experience.
