Pesimo servicio contratamos traslados con 3 meses de anticipacion eramos 8 personas el dia del traslado nos informaron que no hay busetas disponibles, sin embargo un dia antes nos escriben para confirmar el servicio, a la final nos llevaron en autos particulares muy mala organizacion y gestion.

Ciudad hermosa, la gente muy amable demasiado calor????, lo malo los vendedores ambulantes acosan demasiado a los turistas lo sucio de la playa Barú muchísimo residuos plasticos.
En cuanto a la agencia que contratamos Colombia Travel el tour que hicimos a la ciudad antigua maravilloso y tuvimos a la mejor guía (Luchy) preocupada y dedicada al grupo.
La parte administrativa (Olga) se preocupa de vender pero no de resolver los problemas que puedan presentarse tuvimos un problema con la suspensión de un tour la devolución se demoraba 7 días hábiles y se solucionó en casi 2 meses gracias a la gestión de otro ejecutivo que tomo nuestro caso a la sra Olga le mandamos muchísimos wasap al principio nos contestaba después solo nos dejaba en visto.
En general fue un buen viaje la ciudad es súper segura para transitar en ella.

I booked this understanding it to be primarily a walking tour around the city, with a bus trip and visit to the fort.
The collection point is a bit of a way out of the main city area to the tour companies office. On arriving there I found the staff to have limited English, which was not an issue but they seemed generally unhelpful in advising what would be happening. The pointed to a plastic chair in the sun, for me to sit and wait as I was early. A bus arrived out front so I went over and someone came out of the office saying quite abruptly that he would get me when it was time. If he had said that to start with it would have been helpful.
A guide turned up and rounded up a few of us then disappeared. I advised that I was booked onto an english speaking tour. I got a raised eyebrow in response. We were taken to the end of the road to wait for what turned out to be a public bus. There was a commentary in Spanish, and the odd word in English thrown in. Then the initial guide got off the bus, with no explanation as to what was happening. We drove around got to a small market with a statue of some shoes, limited explanations given in Spanish but nothing in English and we were just left in the hot afternoon sun for around 25 minutes. The purpose being to queue and take photos of these random shoes.
I reminded the guide that I could not speak spanish so therefore had no idea what was happening and that I had booked a tour in English. WE then went to the fort, and again queued in full sun to get in. It transpired that we were going to be at the fort for about an hour before going back to the city, so were clearly not going to get a walking tour of the city. The tour was indepth and the guide did then make more of an effort to include me.
After an hour or so we drove back to the city, to the Cartagena sign to take photos, and then we were taken to an emerald shop, where an explanation of everything was givne in spanish. I had already said I was staying in Centro so did not need to go back to the starting location on the bus. I ended my trip in the emerald store.
This was not what was advertised. It is not fair or appropriate to offer a tour in English if that is not what you are going to give. If I had wanted an indepth fort visit, that's what I would have booked.
In the end I did 2 very good, "free" walking tours of different parts of the city with a different company.

Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
