Cairo Airport Private Transfer

Drop off was great , no issues. The problem was for the pick up. I had to grab a taxi to the hotel because when we stepped outside the airport we didn’t find nobody with my name printed or the sign for the company, and this is previously checking the inside like maniacs to look for the person. Also, they knew my flight number and the time of arrival and didn’t even bother to text me to ask me where I was. Then I got to the hotel and I texted them that I was already at my destination and asked me “Why I didn’t wait “, well the why is described above. You can imagine the level of frustration we had not knowing where the taxi driver was headed to and barely spoke any English. I suggested them that next time it will be beneficial for foreigners to have a visual notification or even request a picture that way they can identify the tourist. And yes, I requested half of my transfer and now is a battle to get my money back from a service that was not provided.

We booked with Sun Pyramids Tours and because we stayed at their hotel (Great Pyramid Inn) as well our first transfer was included with our stay! I can't say enough about Mustafa and his communication skills! Being able to talk with someone to avoid problems and frustration is crucial. He contacted me via WhatsApp and assured me he would be waiting at the airport when we arrived. He had to wait about an extra hour or more because getting through customs and our luggage took a VERY long time but he was texting me the whole time and we were able to communicate through it all. To have a ride already waiting for me was a weight off my shoulders, especially after a long day of flying and it was late. Mustafa is exceptional and professional. He is SO friendly and kind. I ended up scheduling 3 more transfers (we took a short flight to Sharm) and because our driver, Mohamed was so great, I requested him to be our driver for our whole visit and Sun Pyramids obliged. We were treated like royalty and Egypt was by far the friendliest country out of the 5 my daughter and I visited. GREAT MEMORIES. They definitely go out of their way to treat you right! oh and by the way it's VERY important to have a driver experienced at driving in Egypt! Mohamed was the man when it came to getting through the traffic and he was safe. We were very comfortable with him. You know how taxi drivers can be right? barf with the slamming on breaks and stuff! Not Mohamed, he is fantastic!! Thank you both for the memories that will last a life time for my daughter and I. It also gave my husband peace of mind to know his girls were well taken care of while he had to stay home in America. He thanks you as well.

We arrived and they did not correctally disembark one of our tours wheelchairs and then took 3xhours to find it-causing 13xpax to miss their expensive cairo tours.management made a lot of promises but did not fufill one of them.very very dissapointed
