Driver stopped by police leaving the parking garage. Did not have correct paperwork. We had to speak with the police and tell them we booked airport transfer through Viator (and show them our confirmation email) before they would let us leave. At least a 30 minute delay. My wife and I both had flashbacks of the movie “Taken”. Really an unacceptable experience. Strongly recommend that Viator not use this provider again. Raises serious concern about whether I can trust Viator in the future.

My tranfer car to my Istanbul hotel never showed up- I’d like a full refund. I waited more than 90 minutes.

Poor organisation, felt isolated, confused, had to walk to driver through Carpark, using elevator, walking amongst moving vehicles having to carry my luggage, didn’t feel safe. One person dealing with six or seven groups, vehicle in poor condition, dirty, looked very worn n old. Looked like a night time party bus. No interaction with driver, very sterile. Won’t be using again any time soon.
