The tour would have been a better experience if there was more information about where we were going, how long we were staying and what to expect.
Due to the ticket slots, we had limited time at Sintra and it felt rushed. It didn’t help that the process for queuing and ticketing was confusing and disorganized ( not the tours fault of course!). We also expected an actual guided tour to accompany us rather than drop us off ( perhaps I didn’t read the fine print).
And it was a long day, and suggest tour guides ask and offer periodically rest room stops and beverages. We had a person in the group with limited mobility and the tour guide didn’t specify where the restrooms were and we we all left on our own to figure it out. We did see some beautiful sites and appreciated being driven as it would have been challenging to do this on our own. Overall, glad we had this experience but would only recommend if there were more improvements in the customer experience.
