Our actual transfer was fine. I only gave four stars because the local company that provided the service was extremely slow in responding. I had booked the transfer and noted that we had extra baggage (4 large cases and 2 carry on bags), the airline, flight number, and departure time. I was issued a confirmation number and assumed everything was set. The day before our departure, I sent a message to the company to confirm a pickup time and didn’t receive a response. I sent a second request for a pickup around 4:00 in the afternoon. With time ticking, located the phone number and called them at 4:30. The person I spoke with was difficult to understand and it was clear that English was not his first language. I eventually found an E-Mail from 4:21 that said I’d have to pay for a larger vehicle since we had more than one bag and one carry on bag per person. I had to pay an additional £40 to cover the extra cost to have a van instead of a sedan. The additional cost wasn’t as big an issue as waiting so late to let us know. We needed to be picked up by 8:00 the following morning to be able to make our flight. Trying to get an extra payment and a second confirmation the night before our pickup was rather stressful. I would suggest that the app be updated to that people can enter their baggage count when booking a transfer. Based on our experience, it doesn’t appear that anyone reads the notes. If there is an up charge for additional bags, the client should be notified at the time they are making the booking.
As for the actual ride, the driver was professional, courteous, and a safe driver
