We were very excited to go to a Colombian football game, paid over AUD$200 through Trip Advisor and received email confirmations. Sadly the tour operator did not arrive to pick us up. We contacted the tour operator who replied to say that there was no soccer game scheduled. No one advised us of this. While we have been advised that we will receive a refund, why did Trip Advisor accept a booking from us in the first place or not make any attempt to contact us if the game was scheduled and later cancelled?
