The arrangements for this day were planned specifically for us. We arranged for a driver to first take us from Montecatini to Pisa for a brief stay (about 1.5 hours) and then take us to the Florence SMN train station to catch our 2:30 PM train. Having emailed with an agent, we determined this was very possible. On the driver's arrival he clearly told us we had four hours of his time. I then asked could we rearrange the timing of our day so that on our way to Florence we could make a 15 minute stop at the Amercian war cemetery near Florence. He immediately refused stating "company policy does not allow changes." No where in this agreement did we sign up for 4 hours. Then he drove us to within 4 minutes of the cemetery, no stop, took us on an unnecessary sightseeing view of the city and we were there at 1 PM, four hours from our 9AM departure time. He changed a possibly exceptional day into one that followed his demands that he had another customer at 1:30 PM. We got our ride but this was unacceptable and I am strongly suggesting compensation.
