We booked the tickets on a reputed platform. Viator gave us confirmation by mail twice and we were very happy. But when I reached Kathmandu and called the local contact, they told us very politely that the trip is fully booked and cannot provide us a seat and would reimburse the money.
I was frustrated and angry and i told them that please don't do that now, because all the reservations have been done and we would lose our money everywhere. They simply said it was a human error and they could do nothing about it. I told them that they should have contacted me atleast 3 or 4 days back and briefed me about the situation and not on the previous day, that too when I contacted them for confirmation.
I had to hire another vehicle, which cost me money. Anyway the mental trauma and stress is not something you can compensate with money or saying a mere "sorry"
