Our tour with Sam was a blast from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and downright hilarious, Sam walked us through the distillation process step by step, sharing awesome stories about their award-winning spirits. One highlight was how they tackled a special request for a “cowboy-flavored” whiskey, which ended up becoming a top-rated surprise.
My friend fell in love with their unusual (but amazing!) dill pickle flavored vodka and grabbed a couple bottles to take home. As a former bartender, she’s obsessed with a simple “dill pickle sour”—1 part lemon juice, 1 part (or less) lime juice, and a shot of that dill pickle vodka, shaken or stirred over ice. The citrus tang balances beautifully with the dill and subtle saltiness.
