If they offer you a refund for bad weather don’t believe them!!!! We booked various trips through this company and great to deal with all the time they’re taking your money but one trip was cancelled due to bad weather (which is a common occurrence in the Azores) and we were promised a refund to my card. Here I am over 3 months later still trying to get my money back. What could of been easily done is now a dispute between them and my credit card company. We go to the Azores most years (going back in May) but will not use this company again which is very narrow sighted from their side as I have spent a lot of money over the years. Literally 5 minutes away at the harbour is another company “FUTURISMO” which offer very similar tours at very similar prices but have never caused me any problems, the reason we didn’t use them was they were very busy and fully booked on a lot of tours which now makes sense. I hate putting bad reviews but sometimes companies need it when they have a terrible level of customer service like this. I have no doubt I will win the dispute as I have emails from ANC offering me the refund, just a shame it’s taking this much effort to get it.
