Had an excellent tour the other day having great Indian food some of which I've not had before, including details on various spices. Also a history lesson of the area around Brick Lane, well worth it. Tamiza was a great guide.

I have always wanted to learn more about Indian food, but not many people in my circle eat it regularly and it's thin on the ground in my home city. I thought that London was the perfect place to try it. I have been on many food tours all over the world, but this was by far one of the best. And it was 90% because of our guide, Rakesh. He was an Indian chef for many decades. His knowledge and passion for the culture and food was what elevated this tour from good to excellent. He took us into a spice shop to give us lessons on the spices we would eat and how to pick out fruit, gave us a history of the area, and made sure every bite we had was delicious. I would definitely go on this tour again, but if Rakesh was the guide, I would make it absolutely essential for any traveler going to London who likes food, even a little bit.

Riki was fantastic. He gave so much insight as a chef and the food was delicious. I learned a lot about London‘s East End and the variety of Indian culture and cuisine.
