We attended Ambra's Pasta-Making class and really enjoyed it, starting with a trip to a large local indoor market where she bought ingredients, then to her large apartment where a table was laid to make pasta, after appetizers and drinks. Ambra is a patient, good-humored host and was committed to helping us learn the craft. It worked. We are going to buy a pasta machine upon our return home! The difference with this event is that we got to see inside a local's home in a social setting - and gained a local skill into the bargain. A pretty unique event!
