My issues started before the holiday. I had arranged a surprise anniversary trip for my husband for our 1st wedding anniversary and booked the Nile cruise including Abu Simber & balloon ride via Noor tours. They changed the date of the cruise with no explanation despite repeated requests. I managed to change our flights and hotel to accommodate them and provided them with our new flight and hotel to be picked up from. We started our trip in Cairo, and again I asked them to confirm I asked them to confirm the pickup time and that they would drop me off at the airport for our flight back to Cairo, again no reply.
They eventually replied and said our tour gide would contact us the day before the cruise.
When we landed in Aswan the Egyptologist contacted us and said the Nile tour would start from KFC at 10.00 am, I said we had asked for a hotel pickup. After various messaging between Noor tours and Viator we were still no further forward.
The manager at the hotel offered to take us to KFC the next morning but I woke up to a message saying the cruise was cancelled.
We were left stranded in a foreign country with very poor Internet services. No explanation from Noor tours as to why the cruise was cancelled, no appology or alternative solution.
Viator couldn't do anything and our Anniversary cruise was ruined.
Noor Tours didn't seem to care at all and left us to try and arrange new flights and hotels to fill the gap that they had created in our itinerary.
