Sofia Wine Walk organizes wine related walking tours and tastings in Sofia. The tours specialize in small, boutique Bulgarian wineries that produce limited editions of wines. If you are looking to expand your knowledge about Bulgarian wine and experience something different, Sofia Wine Walk offers an opportunity to explore Sofia’s inspiring wine scene. On this tour, you will visit a range of unique venues chosen for their excellent wine selections and contribution to Bulgaria’s wide variety, and listen to their fascinating stories. I also can introduce you to Sofia and Bulgaria’s history, culture and traditions so you can learn as you walk. The duration of the tour is 2-2.5 hours. The minimum number of people per tour is 2, and the maximum is 10. The tour is in English.

We did the tour on a cold Friday night in February and enjoyed every moment. It was a great way to learn about Sofia. Pavlin shared interesting facts about Sofia and Bulgaria all while sharing information about the different wine regions of Bulgaria. We went to 2 quaint wine bars and finished at a lovely restaurant. I highly recommend this tour.

I really enjoyed my Sofia Wine Walk tour! We visited two nice wine bars in the city center and finished at a great Italian restaurant. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about Bulgarian wines. He chose excellent wines for us to taste from small Bulgarian wineries. The tour was informative and fun - we learned a lot about local wines while enjoying the city. We were extremely satisfied with the experience! If you want to discover Bulgarian wines and try something different, I highly recommend Sofia Wine Walk.

If you love wine and enjoy exploring charming wine bars, this experience is a must! The sommelier was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also passionate about Bulgarian wines, sharing fascinating insights into their history and production. The walk took us through some of the best wine spots in town, each offering a unique atmosphere and an impressive selection of local wines. It was a perfect mix of education and indulgence, with plenty of opportunities to savor exceptional wines and appreciate the depth of Bulgaria’s wine culture. Highly recommend this for wine enthusiasts or anyone looking to discover a new side of Bulgaria while sipping on some truly outstanding vintages.
