We have been to Los Cabos several times and always had a wonderful vacation; good food or even great food, many restaurant options, clean hotel, etc. This was the worst vacation we have had to Los Cabos and the worst vacation we have had in decades. The rooms are very dated, and are far too old to be considered "clean". In addition, the food is mediocre at best. The menus do not change, therefore, quite monotonous, especially on a two week vacation. They rate themselves as a five star, but I have stayed at numerous five star hotels and this one is a three star at best. Everything on the property is tired, dilapidated or broken. Restaurants are primarily outdoor restaurants, which can be very chilly in March. They have multiple propane heaters, but unless specifically asked to use them, they do not. They often require having the propane tank changed, which seems to take the entire wait staff, plus someone from maintenance. Changing the propane tank should be a one person job, even for a mid-70's woman, that takes seconds. There seems to be no on site management overseeing this resort. On the plus side, we did find the wait staff and chefs to be accommodating regarding special requests. However, if the quality of food is sub-par when fresh, the quality of the meal, when prepared will also be sub-par and disappointing. If Los Cabos is your preferred destination, find another resort! We have been to many and every single one of them was far better than this one, and actually cost much less money.

The tour overall went fine, here is what went well and what didn’t go well. In summary their good customer support and fixing the hotel made it from 3 to 4 stars. Better communication would make it to 5 stars.
Pros:
1. Fast responses through Viator chat
2. They apologized for the hotel & the delay by the driver by moving us to a better 4-star hotel
3. All the guises and hotels had all the information they needed to have and the internal coordination was excellent between all parties.
4. The details of the hikes and the tour was totally worth it, I even recommend booking a 3-day tour for Sa Pa to stay a day longer and enjoy the unbelievable nature, rice farms & villages.
5. The set menu food for us for lunch and dinner in the hotels was very good quality and portions
Cons:
1. They are the only operator who didn’t text us on WhatsApp in Vietnam a day before and so we had no idea how to reach out to them to chat on the spot apart from Viator messaging
2. The driver was late and we had no clue if he’d be coming or not
3. People in the bus didn’t know the names of their accommodations and the driver didn’t speak any English so I would recommend that the organizers always text the travellers a day before with what to expect and what to do when they arrive in Sa Pa. These all-inclusive tours can be stressful as we have no idea what will happen next and who knows what
