This is s full day tour that starts with: Great Pyramid of Cheops. Pyramid of Chephren. Pyramid of Mycerinus Valley Temple of Chephren. Great Sphinx A Little adventure On the camel in the Sahara Desert Is included in this tour Then you will proceed to Sakkara area where you will explore: Step Pyramid complex of Zoser. Pyramid of Teti (Pyramid Texts inside) Nobleman's tomb. Later you will move to Memphis (Mit Rahina ) museum where the first capital of Ancient Egypt was erected about 3200 B.C. Now ends the part of the desert and comes the part of the river as you will enjoy relaxation time on a felucca (traditional sailboat) on the Nile. Then you will enjoy delicious dinner on a dinner cruise while watching belly dancer and Tannoura (folklore) show. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

I totally recommend to pay extra to get a private day tour. Although the booking agency missed our last change of reservation we were able to rearrange and stick to the original date. The guide was very keen to make sure we had a very nice experience so we started the day on the Nile and chose a different boat than the felucca, as the wind was week. We sailed for an hour or so and enjoyed the awakening of the city and the picturesque fishermen, then we moved onwards to Giza to see the pyramids, the sphinx and we rode on camels. Then the trip went on to Memphis to see the giant statue of Ramses II and then further on to Sakkara to see more pyramids, temples and mausoleums. Then we went back to the hotel where we relaxed a few hours before we got picked up for the Nile dinner cruise. The last part could be skipped. But all-in-all a great experience with a knowledgeable guide who made sure that we got a nice experience with no traffic jam and lots of stories about Egypt history past and present. We got a full circle experience for life from dusk till dawn.
