From the summit we can see clearly the middle Atlas mountains and Rif mountains . In fact, It's a rural place where farming and agriculture are the main theme, an outing in nature just not that far from Fès, but still it can give you the opportunity to fully endorse the simple life of the countryside in Morocco. While sitting on nice shaded bunch of Pinus sylvestris trees, we will prepare Hammocks and nice picnic setting with some nice delicious food and mint tea just on top of the mountain of Zalagh. This ecological outing is a best way to encounter Moroccan farmers and shepherds on the way enjoying their simple life. It is just one of the highlights of your Moroccan adventure.

    You will have a perfect natural break from the medina of Fes to the countryside nearby. You will see old merchant's caravan routes to Fes, you will see the chains of the middle Atlas moutains and Buiblan snowing peak from a distance. You will have a better top panoramic view of Fes city. You will see the countryside and the territories of Jbala and Hyayna tribes and the begining of the Rif moutains. In our ecological outing, we can explore the mountain of Zalagh formation, do some birds watching and enjoy a picnic with lunch and mint tea over the summit of almost 900m while hanging our hammocks in beautiful large Pines trees.

We had such an amazing time with Sufyan. He was a great help to us and we really enjoyed his company, knowledge, and guidance during our stay in Fes. I can’t recommend him enough!!

We spent a really nice day visiting Volubilis and Meknès starting from Fez. Sufyan is an excellent driver and guide, reliable and friendly, I definitely would advise his company for any guided tour. He speaks many languages (a bit of italian too!!!). When we come back to Marocco we will certanly contact him to plan our trips. Thank you for the great experience! ????
