My husband and I had a wonderful time at Bagru learning about how this beautiful prints are created. We witnessed all the process, from selecting the fabrics, to how the colors involved are created, etc. and we even had the opportunity of meeting different members of the families that have been doing this for decades. Arpit (sp) was a very knowledgeable and patience guide that answer to all our questions and curiosities. Highly recommended if you're visiting Jaipur for a few days.

We had the best time learning about the hand block print and all the stages/work involved. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Left us in awe of what they achieve and how they achieve it!

This experience/ practical was right up my street, but I think most people can get something out of this 60 - 120 minutes. I have never done any block printing before so I got a lot out of the background information and learnt a lot through the hands-on experience and seeing how things are done - creating dyes, open air drying, the dark workshops etc. (Great add-on was the visit to the school). Finally - whoow the piece I made (50cm x 110cm two colours) - I'm really pleased and proud of it. Thanks everybody.
