We go with minibus out into the polar night, all the way to the world-famous Abisko National Park and we makes stops during the way on the best places to see the northern light. Hopefully we will find aurora borealis in the dark night sky on our way there. We will help you to capture pictures of the magical nature phenomen. The minibus is always heated and we serve coffee, tea or warm lingonberry juice and sweet snacks on the tour. We can not guarantee that the northern light is visible because its a weather phenomenon beyond or control. But we can guarantee that we will do our best for you to have a wonderful experience anyway The northern lights use to be visible from September-middle of April

    We will drive with the minibus trough Abisko nationalpark. We will pass by the famous Lapporten and Abisko canyon. Abisko National Park is located in the far northern part of Sweden, with only Vadvetjakka National Park being further north. It rests near the border of Norway. The park covers an area of 30 square miles (77 sq km). The park extends from Tornetrask Lake up through 121 miles (195 km) inside the Arctic Circle.

    Lapporten or Tjuonavagge is a U-shaped valley located just outside Abisko National Park in Lapland in northern Sweden, one of the most familiar natural sights of the mountains there. The valley is bounded to the southwest of the mountain Nissuntjårro and in the northeast of Tjuonatjåkka.

They tell you up front that there is no guarantee for seeing the lights so the guide has to be good enough to make your trip worthwhile. Gaia is that kind of guide. Full of interesting information about the area, the Sami people and culture, listening to her was a real treat. So, the guide stands alone as worthwhile, but in our case we DID see the lights and plenty of them! Clear skies and magical night landscapes made this trip “other-worldly”. Along with the other passengers, we all were hunting for the lights and Gaia pulled over every time someone spotted something. The night walk in the Abisko national park with hot drink and cake was lovely. The van was new, comfortable and warm. We were out for over four hours.

Our tour was postponed a day because there were too few bookings. Which was great for us because the weather was much better the next day. Communication took place via a phone call. The Northern Lights tour was outstanding our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. He also helped us set up the camera and took photos. We can recommend the trip 100 per cent and we are very happy to have booked this tour, many thanks to the whole team. have a nice time
