    Your local friendly guide and the driver will pick up you from your Shanghai hotel. Enjoy the comfortable ride in the air-conditioned car to Zhujiajiao ancient water town,on the way by passing some of the city's amazing skylines. Established as early as 1700 years ago, Zhujiajiao still retains its typical Ming and Qing Dynasty old houses . Upon arrival, spend some quality time to wander around the old alley streets full of local flavors and appreciate the enchanting township senery along the riverside while learning the interesting local culture, history and custom. Visit the peaceful Kezhi garden from the Qing Dynasty, once a private garden owned by the local wealthy family, indulge yourself in the beautiful natural landscape of this ancient garden dotted with the ponds, pavilions and bridges. Pay a visit to the local "City God Temple " to learn the fasinating local religious culture and custom. Sample some of the local authentic food with the recommendations from your guide ;enjoy a relaxing gondola ride along the ancient water town to fully appreciate the charming of the "Oriental Venice". After the tour is finished, you will be dropped off back to Shanghai as you need.

My sister and I spent a half day with Annie touring Zhujiajio mid January. Annie picked us up on time in our hotel for a nice drive out of the city and dropped us off at a spot of our choice. The tour was interesting and informative. I highly recommend this tour next time you are in Shanghai

We were picked up promptly at our hotel and on the time we requsted. We were then taken to the Zhujiajiao water village by a nice and comfortable Buick van. Annie, our tour guide, was very friendly, witty, and knowledgeable about the history, street foods, merchant, and garden in Zhujiajiao. She lets us enjoy the tour on our own pace, lets us try different street food along the way, and does not rush us in any way. And most importantly she knows the best spots for taking lovely photos, although some weird crouching are sometimes needed LoL.. All in all a great experience!!! Thanks Annie...

I would recommend this trip to anyone who has some time to spend outside of shanghai. It was a very cute town with beautiful scenery and unique little shops. Our guide, Annie did an amazing job touring us around, explain the culture and interesting little tidbits of the history in the area. I loved every minute.
