Serena was a lovely guide. She met us at the gates of the archeological park in Syracuse and after exploring this area guided by her extensive knowledge, we headed to Ortigia and explored that beautiful island. Con un gruppo di 8 amici abbiamo visitato l'Ortigia, piacevolmente guidati da Serena attraverso i suoi antichi vicoli. Partiti dal Tempio di Apollo, passando per la Giudecca, siamo giunti nella bellissima piazza Duomo; abbiamo visitato internamente il Duomo, sorto sulle colonne del Tempio di Atena poi, attraverso via Roma e piazza Archimede, siamo giunti alla suggestiva Fonte Aretusa, di fronte al mare. La nostra guida ci ha illustrato la storia e le curiosità di tutti i principali monumenti e ci ha fornito anche suggerimenti interessanti per il prosieguo della nostra visita.
