This tour was EXCELLENT. We had some bad experiences on other excursions, and this one was just simply great. The price is great, they get straight to the fun, no excessive waiting, and it’s very “at your own pace” with tons of fun. I highly recommend this boat - I could tell we were having way more fun than the other boats that did this tour.

Rating this 4 stars because the boat/ship was cool, food was better than I expected, and the crew was pretty decent overall. If you’re going to do this excursion, I would imagine this company/package is as good as any. I docked the rating 1 star on principle because overall, now that I’ve done it, I think you’re better off not booking this at all. Many of the pictures make it seem like the snorkel spot is off in the ocean requiring you to be chartered to. It’s not! Those pictures (and the listed sailing times) are deceiving. The time you spent sailing is to travel along the coast to get to the spot. You can see land/the beach (“Big Beach”) from the snorkel spot. It’s actually something you could fairly easily paddle board to on your own from big beach. You’d save a lot of money and time doing that instead of booking this. In fact, on the day we went the waves were too choppy so we didn’t even get to do the main snorkel spot. Instead, we ended up spending double time looking for turtles at the second spot (which was in the same area but just closer to the beach). So, I’m my case this excursion / tour was literally a waste because the vet next day we went to Big Beach and snorkeled the same spot only from the beach instead of from the boat. And it was free! Having said that, I can’t blame the crew for the water being too choppy to hit the first stop, and I’m sure I would have enjoyed the trip more if we could have done the main snorkel spot. The boat captain is the one that gave us the name of the beach so we knew to go to it on our own time, and overall the boat, captain, and food made it “nice”. It’s just a lot of money to pay for something we did for free since we had a rental car and drove to the same area the following day. For the money, and since we didn’t even get to hit the main spot, I wish I didn’t do it and would certainly not do it again. But, we had fun and this company was a good way to do it if you’re going to do it. 4 stars is fair. Anything lower or higher would be misleading.

Snorkeling in the volcano. Beautiful views from the boat. I would recommend this to other families. We had a four month old,5yo, and 13yo. The staff was super accommodating and attentive.
