The afternoon we spent going to the market and cooking with Daniel and Tigist was a definite highlight of our trip to Addis Ababa. They welcomed us into their home, taught us how to cook shiro and injera, and explained so much about their culture and ways of life in Addis. And, they have the three cutest, most well-behaved children. It was special to see a glimpse into what their family life is like--I don't think there is a better way to get an authentic local experience. And, I must mention that the food was amazing! It was my favorite Ethiopian meal by far--Daniel and Tigist are both amazing cooks. 10/10 I would recommend!
