We met at the ground just before our start time. Our guide Craig was brilliant not just for his knowledge but his passion for the game. We proceeded anti clockwise around the ground with one of the best moments being the view from inside the old traditional scoreboard, it was fabulous the way it still works.
We loved the grassy bank behind the bowlers arm which reminded us of the good old days of cricket.
Whilst walking around the other side of the ground there was definitely an AFL feel with all the photos and statues.
The changing room visited was used for AFL and the recording played in the tunnel was great when we walked out onto the pitch.
We then visited The Sir Donald Bradman stand and the massive Riverbank stand at the one end of the ground.
We would highly recommend this tour.
