Göcek 12 eilanden boottocht (luie dag uit) vanuit Sarigerme

We recently went on the Gocek 12 Islands Boat Trip with Basket Travel. We decided to book with this travel agency, as it’s gets great reviews on Trip Advisor and we wanted to do a trip whilst we were on our vacation in Turkey. After being picked up by coach, it took 25 minutes to get to Gocek Harbour. When we arrived at boat, you can either sit on the lower desk (where there is a bar to buy drinks and and snacks) or on the upper desk where you can sit on the sun loungers. Throughout the trip you stop at three bays for 45 minutes - Buyukova Bay, Aquarium Bay & Pancake Island and 90 minutes at Bedri Rahmi. At Bedri Rahmi, you can either swim or snorkel and you can also do some watersports (Banana Boat & the sea sofa) We went on the Sea Sofa and it was great fun- N.B- I definitely recommend doing the water sports before lunch, as the sea is very bumpy!) The Sea Sofa costs around €10PP. Whilst at Bedri Rahmi, you also get a complimentary three course lunch. The food was delicious and the service on the boat was very attentive. For the three other stops, you have 45 minutes to either swim, snorkel, sunbathe or just soak in the breathtaking scenery. I jumped into the sea at Buyukova Bay & Aquarium Bay and it was great swimming in crystal clear turquoise water- it was epic and very refreshing. My least favourite part of the tour was going to Pancake Island. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the island, I thought it wasn’t as pretty as the two other islands & I would have rather stayed longer at the other bays as it was easier to swim. The cost of the trip was 480 Lira PP (you can also pay for the trip in sterling or euros) and you can either book the trip over the phone or book it online. The drinks on the boat are reasonably priced and you can settle your bar bill once you depart the boat. Lastly the tour guide was friendly & informative. Overall if you are looking to experience some of the Turkey’s stunning coastline and swim in natural crystal water you should go on this trip with Basket Travel. It’s exceptional value for money and you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic trip from start to finish. Picked up from the hotel, took to the marina. Plenty of bed cushions to lounge on. 3 course lunch provided. Drinks are extra. Great host. Plenty of sea swims available

Went on the 12 island tour with basket travel yesterday, had a great time apart from one very poorly behaved child who screamed most of the day. The trip itself is very good, nice air conned bus took us from Sarigerme to the boat. The boat had plenty of spaces /beds to chill. Tennis our guide very knowledgeable and good lad. The 4 stops were good with plenty of time to jump, swim, snorkel or try the water sports at stop 2. Alcoholic drinks a bit expensive but in line with Sarigerme prices. The landscape whilst sailing was fantastic. I would have given this 5 stars but for for 1 child who screamed when they did not get their own way, felt sorry for the parents who did try but she was a nightmare, either sweet as pie or screamed in a pitch that went straight through you. NOTE: This is a long day, picked up at 09.30 and dropped off after 18.00, Maybe not suitable for children under 12 as sailing isn’t actually exciting and after the first two swimming stops not much for the younger kids to do. I would suggest to Basket Travel to consider doing this trip for over 12’s as a lot of people yesterday commented on the screaming child.
