If you want to experience the usual suspense and horrific movie scene, like being left behind by the tour boat, this is the one! It happened December 2023 not February 2024. I posted this just now as I forgot if I did post a complain before or not. Very terrible and traumatic experience! I was excited to explore a Puerto Vallarta experience by island hopping but I wasnt expecting what I signed up for. On the very first stop where that photo is at, I remembered that location where they left me behind the ocean alone. like literally LEFT BEHIND ALONE!! I was snorkeling and I got up, boat was gone! I couldnt be grateful to a private family boat tour next to me who saved my life and brought me back to shore. I didnt have anything except my life vest, gopro and goggles. All my stuff were left at the boat and my stuff weren't return until 10:30PM to my hotel!!and guessed what, my cash I just had an exha! I had no money to buy food as my wallet and cash were there. They said they did a head count.. like, how tf I was left behind if they had a head count? Also, how you wouldnt noticed there's a bag on the floor of the chair where I was sitting was empty and nobody notices it? It was Sunday and they were closed so grateful some fisherman helped me out contacting the company and picked me up. I asked for my refund and and they gave a paper that I have to write down that they are not responsible to what happen to me? like wtf. its for me to get my refund back. like a true NEGLIGENCE. Never again! hope this never happens to anyone

Very good crew. Highly recommended!! If you want cultural experience! This is a great place! In Purerto Vallarta!! If you are a tourist you should go for it!!!

I was approached by a salesperson in wal-mart while looking for plantain chips. He offered to help me find them, presenting himself as a wal mart employee, when in actuality he worked for a tour company selling excursions, and that was his intent when he approached us. We bought tickets for the los animas excursion and it was an awful experience. We arrived at puerto magico an hour early but still nearly missed our boat because they were so disorganized and working very slowly to give everyone their food tickets. There was about 250 people on this tour. The main host (he has a beard like Jack sparrow), who said the english speakers can call him 'brown sugar' (never got his real name) very rarely spoke in english, 90% of everything said was in spanish, and so all the english speakers were completely unaware of what was going on. For example, for breakfast we had the choice between a small serving of fruits and pancakes or a plate of nachos with eggs. One plate per person. These instructions were only in spanish, so when they came around, we took the first thing they had, which was fruits. when they came around with nachos, we asked for a plate and they got angry saying we had to chose one or the other not both. We would have known this, had they said it in english as well. There were about 30 english speakers left in the dark. You have the option to go to the waterfalls, 1 hr hike there, 1 hr hike back. me and my boyfriend were going to do it. But everything was so disorganized. When we arrived at los animas beach, they can't dock the boat. So they have a smaller boat, they used to transfer everyone. The boat fits 15-18 people. They used this to transfer 250 people to the island. It took a long time..... By the end of docking, we didn't know where the guy was, who was bringing people to the waterfalls so we missed it. Oh, and the lunch doesn't include drinks, you have to pay for those. I got a hamburger with cold and hard fries, I asked for fresh fries, they gave me hot and hard fries. The food was terrible, the staff was unfriendly, and I was highly annoyed that they virtually NEVER spoke in english until it was time to scold you for not knowing what the instructions were or to ask for tips. I didn't get to see the waterfalls, and the snorkeling is only for about 20 minutes. Don't do this excursion with this tour company, especially if you dont speak spanish
