Dolphin Sunset Cruise met Open Bar

My husband and I booked a sunset cruise with Delphi water sports for our honeymoon. We were hoping to have beautiful views and a relaxing trip on the water. Maybe we should have read more reviews, but we were under the impression it would be more of a calm, romantic setting. They couldn’t have been further from the truth. The cruise was more of a party vibe - probably around 40 people crammed on the boat, slamming alcohol, loud music, yelling, etc. Some people want to party more than we do, which is completely okay. Just wish it was made more clear before booking that it was more of a louder, party vibe. Additionally, we were crammed on 2 banana type inflatable boats to be shuttled out to the catamaran. Definitely didn’t seem super safe - as we had to exit one at a time on each side and could feel the little boat shift a lot side to side as people got off. They also did a rope swing at one point as they allowed people to swim for a short period of time. The handle actually broke off at one point and flew into the water. They just jumped in to grab it and reattached and allowed people to keep using it. This delayed time actually somewhat caused us to not be cruising by the sunset as promised. We were parked down on the other end of the island longer than intended. The guides were very friendly, and the views were still great. Just wish for our intentions, it would have been more clear before booking it is less of a relaxing vibe.

Our cruise was an all – around adventure. The crew was friendly and energetic. The catamaran boat was clean and comfortable. They served snacks and drinks throughout the cruise. We felt it was a good value for the money! Some things that would be good to know before embarking. They use a couple of dinghies to ferry people from the beach to the boat. The crew is very efficient in helping folks into the dinghy and onto/off of the boat. Though identified as a sunset cruise, there was also opportunity for passengers to jump into the water, use a water slide, and swing from a rope into the water. Lastly, the boat seemed well stocked with life preservers, but there was no announcement about what to do in an emergency as we are used to with US excursions. All in all, a good time!

Great sail on the Dolphin Catamaran. Easy check-in and boarding and unlike some sailing trips, the bar opened as soon as we’d completed the safety talk and had set sail. The slide at the back of the boat was a lot of fun and the rope swing from the mast was a blast! Overall a great time!
