This was our first time trying oysters and they were pretty good! Aside from that, we learned about Coffin Bay, got 4 oysters each (& a seafood plate) and got to put on waders and shuck our own. Unfortunately , the tide was too high for us to walk out and see the farm so we just got waders on and went to a table about 8 feet off the shore. I would have rented a car and driven myself out to Coffin Bay instead for the $400 it cost the three of us!!
The place itself was great and the food was worth driving out for. Kim the owner was awesome and told us a lot about the surrounding community and showed us some emus and kangaroos on our way back to Port Lincoln. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the price we paid. Go out yourselves and just buy some oysters and look around…
