11DAGEN WILDERNISPOORT: Okavango, Moremi & Chobe -WildCamping Safari + Victoria Falls

We were travelling Africa for the first time with our two kids (11 & 8). We were faced with weather related changes to our itinerary a couple of weeks before our trip and during our trip. We also had issues with our flight bookings and had to spend a whole extra day in Maun. We felt well supported the whole way through all the changes/issues. Chris and Maria were proactive in asking our feedback and wanting to tweak things during the trip to make our trip more comfortable. I think the quality of meals could have been better. We didn't really know what the meals would be like in advance, else we would have asked for a change. It would be good if they would share a menu with options ahead of time for us to pick from? A BIG shout out to the staff that went with us to Moreimi. They were simply awesome. Miss them all! Would love to see them all again. They truly touched our hearts and made our trip special. Loved the time we spent with them.

Siamo stati 9 giorni in Botswana di cui 6 in mobile camp. E’ stata un’esperienza fantastica grazie a tutto lo staff di Kalahari Breeze Safari che ci ha accompagnato nel nostro viaggio sotto la guida di Maria e Chris che ringraziamo. Abbiamo visitato il delta dell’okawango (imperdibili le escursioni in mokoro), kwai/moremi, savuti e chobe. Ci porteremo sempre nel cuore i meravigliosi paesaggi, colori, suoni, profumi, tramonti e gli incontri ravvicinati con i tantissimi animali. Dormire in tenda è semplicemente meraviglioso e anche chi è partito con dubbi e paure si è subito ricreduto. Torneremo sicuramente ancora con Maria e Chris e i loro ragazzi sempre disponibili, sorridenti e professionali.

Amazing trip, well looked after from the moment we arrived. Started with a day in the Okavango, wonderfully peaceful. Staying at the Main Studios was also a real treat. Then off camping in Moremi for a few days - with shower - before getting some luxury at Chobe. Saw most of the animals we had hoped to see, except for wild dogs, they were out apparently. I wasn't really prepared for the magnificence of the Victoria falls or the Devil's Pool, an exhilarating experience. There was a small technical hiccup with the car and the way that Kalahari Breeze dealt with it just showed what good customer service can be like. Thank you to all at Kalahari Breeze, especially Maria and Clifford.
