We are in town for the London Marathon. We opted for a Saturday morning tour and are so happy we did. Traffic in London can be extremely congested. But our Saturday morning start - 8:00 AM - made travel through the city very manageable. Steve, our guide, arrived promptly and quickly got a sense of the parts of London we were interested in visiting. In other words, he tailored the tour to our wishes. That’s service! Stops included the remains of the ancient Roman wall, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Thames River Wharf, Abbey Road Studios, the Jimmy Hendrix, George Frederick Handel Museum, Berry Brothers & Rudd, a fascinating wine and spirits merchant and so many more. As we travelled from place to place, Steve shared interesting anecdotes and kept us thoroughly informed and entertained. If this is your first visit to London or like us, you were looking for a curated experience, Steve will make four hours fly by.
