TLDR - best dive ever, 10,000 stars, book without hesitation!

I am going to start by saying that my wife and I have been certified for one year. We certified in a quarry, and our first ocean dive was in Destin, Florida. We are fairly new to this. We had no idea what to expect. We booked this directly with Scubacao, as our Virgin cruise had no scuba excursions on this stop. I selected Scubacao because of their high Google and TripAdvisor reviews, and it was the best decision we made. I honestly don't know how this will be outdone. I found the website and sent them a message, and we communicated via WhatsApp. Communication was excellent. I told the person on the other end that we were new and didn't have a lot of experience ocean diving, and they were very understanding. We booked too late for a boat dive, and they told us we would be doing a shore dive, which we had not done. I sent the necessary paperwork. A few days before our cruise, I got a WhatsApp message with directions on where to be and what time. We were told to walk off the boat, go to the Starbucks, and they would pick us up.
We walked to the Starbucks with our gear, and there were a lot of other divers. I thought we would be diving with a large group. People were getting on buses and leaving. We were there for a few minutes, and JP pulls up in his truck and says throw your stuff in the back and let's go! We did and jumped in. JP was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. He drove us to the dive location and gave us a sightseeing tour on the way. He educated us about local attractions and local laws, languages, religions, politics, and other interesting facts about Curacao. It was literally like we flew to Curacao to dive with a friend who lived there.
We went to Shipwreck Beach first. We did our pre-dive safety briefing, and everything was as he described. He was very safety-conscious and gave us some dive tips. He checked on us frequently to make sure we were okay. We saw beautiful fish, eels, squid, and a shipwreck. He led us under the pier, and then we surfaced. We did a post-dive briefing, and he provided local snacks and drinks. The cookies were delicious.
Then, he asked my wife what she would like to do, and my wife commented that she would like to see sea turtles. He spoke to another dive operator, and we loaded up our gear and jumped in the truck. This is where it went from amazing to fantastic! We drove to a location with no other divers and did our pre-dive briefing. Knowing we were new, he explained that we would swim out and see nothing but blue, but to trust him because he knew where he was going. The surf was a little rough, and he told us to stand behind him until we got far enough out to descend. We swam about 15 minutes out and began to see a structure come into view. We had made it to "Turtle Rock" as he called it, and we saw several sea turtles, lion fish, moray eel, a sea horse, and lots of fish. It was unbelievable. I don't know how this will ever be topped, to have a private dive with JP and Turtle Rock all to ourselves.
After the dive, we went back to the dive shop, cleaned our gear, and he drove us to the terminal and dropped us off. It was an amazing day. Words cannot convey just how awesome this was. The only downside is that this is the dive trip we will compare all future trips to.

Curacao. Experiencia con SCUBACAO DIVING ADVENTURE. Desde el 28/12/2025 comencé a averiguar en distitnas operadoras de buceo y habiendo analizado las alternativas ofrecidas quedé con esa operadora de buceo. En las distintas charlas por mail me confirman que el 12/04/2026 harían inmersión en Superior Produce. Teniendo en cuenta esa fecha concreto mi viaje a Curacao para realizar ese buceo más otro u otros que me sugirieran. El 15/3 me informa que no van a tener instructor en español, al expresar que eso iba a ser un inconveniente el 23/3 me informan que NO iba a ser inconveniente dado que lo resolverían y cerca de la fecha se establecería un segundo punto de buceo. El 9/4 les informé de mi llegada y atento a que solicitaban una reserva, realicé el pago y se los comuniqué por lo que se dieron por enterado e informaron un segundo buceo tentativo dentro de las fechas de mi viaje.
El 11/4 (día previo al primer buceo en Superior Producer) al no recibir ninguna infomración hasta las 6 pm me comunico por mail y por whatsapp para que me infomraran horarios en que me pasarían a buscar al día siguiente. Por whatsapp me contestan "HI English ok", por lo que contesto que la persona con la que estuve arreglando, Carolina (que habla español) iba a solucionar el problema, por lo que de no ser así, cancelaba la reserva. Me dicen que Carolina no estába ahi ...
Curiosamente Carolina me contesta por mail y dice que al no tener el depósito no confirmaron instructor en español. Me pide si podemos seguir hablando por el mismo Whatsapp ... Informo que la reserva la realicé con más de 48 hs de anticipación. Posteriormente se esforzaron en no reconocer el error, cambiar horarios de buceo por la tarde y a las 8 pm me envían contacto de Whatsapp de otra operadora (la que no estaba bien calificada por internet) para que "yo me comunique" y ver si al día siguiente iban a bucear a dicho punto y con guía en español ...
Luego de un buen esfuerzo acceden a devolver la reserva.
Viajé específicamente a Curacao para bucear, me dieron seguridades que no cumplieron y trataron de no devolver la reserva estando claro (por mail y whatsapp que fue realizada con tiempo), además de que yo me ocupara de llamar a otra persona (8 pm) para ver si conseguía poder ir a bucear.
Asegurense y tomen precauciones si contratan a SCUBACAO DIVING ADVENTURE.

My wife took her PADI Open Water course here 3 years ago and we just keep coming back. We've loved all the Instructors/Guides here over the years. Can't find better on the island.
